First Week Of School

So, I just got back from my first week of year seven. It went a lot differently that expected! I'll review all my subjects here:


Maths:

I'll start with maths, because it's probably one of the more interesting stories. I hated maths. Absolutely hated it last year. I was good at it according to everyone else, but I still absolutely loathed it. But this year, it's actually looking like it'll be lots of fun. I have a nice teacher (she is my homeroom teacher) that makes it a lot of fun.

English:

Oh god why. This used to by my favourite subject until I got the like, worst, teacher ever. I just hate him so much. Me and my best friend predict that we are going to end up sucking at this subject, and rocking at Science/Maths.

History:

Taken by the same teacher as English. He just drones on and on and none of it makes sense. I just hatehatehatehatehate him so much. I also have to sit next to the best friend of the guy who is currently number 3 on my 'people I hate list'. So that doesn't help.

French:

You never really appreciate what you've got until it's gone. That's my view on this subject. They had to split french into two classes because otherwise it'd be very crowded. (Don't get me started on what happened last year) Anyway, I got the nicest teacher, but I absolutely miss being taught by the other one. My current one only speaks English if she's holding this stupid bear, and we aren't learning anything at all. Sure, my old one was strict, but she could be fun at times, and we actually GOT STUFF DONE.

So, learn a lesson from me little ones: learn to appreciate your teachers who actually teach you things. You'll miss them when they're gone.

Science:

Used to be me and my best friends least favourite subject but since my home-room teacher is teaching it, it's actually pretty fun. I liked the lesson where we just messed around with the Periodic Table and started finding cool element names (me and my best friend came up with a name if a new element is ever found: Australsium)

Health & PE

Eh, nothing much to say on this subject.

So, I guess I learnt an important lesson: the teacher really does matter. Because my two least favourite subjects are now my favourites and I am starting to really hate English.
